You haven’t always been on radio; the stage and screen are close to your heart too. What was your favourite show?
I was incredibly lucky to be part of the world touring company of ‘We Will Rock You’, as part of the ensemble and understudy to the lead role, Scaramouche, who I got to play too. The music of Queen is electric and it was such a thrill to bring the magic to audiences all over the world.
Has music always been part of your life?
Apart from performing live on stage, I love writing and recording my own music and have released a bunch of tracks over the years which you can still find on all good streaming platforms. Fun Fact: My first CD single was released under the name Miss B. Have.
Who is the most famous person you have met?
Nelson Mandela, I got to visit him at his home on his birthday, and he shook my hand and held onto it for ages. One of the most memorable moments of my life!
Best concert you’ve ever been to?
Madonna is a legend, and her Rebel Heart Tour was absolutely epic. The costumes, the staging, the choreography – it was a visual and musical feast. She’s such a strong performer, and even though she’s been in the business for decades, she still puts on a show that’s full of energy and innovation.

Community Chats does just what it says on the tin! Every week we pick a different community in the Dublin region and chat to locals about news in the area and any issues the community is facing at present. We will also give a low-down on any free events that will be held in the community and give a platform to local arts and sports clubs to chat about their programmes.
