Eliane Polek on Matrescence and the Pressure on Mothers to be Perfect!

This week on Perfectly Imperfect Parenting Mary was joined by Eliane Polek, known online as the Sane Mama, a Matrescence and Motherhood Coach.

Eliane joined Mary to talk about how motherhood has been neglected and misrepresented, and the demands placed on mothers to do it all and have it all. She told Mary about her own experience of maternal rage, and how we need to talk about the darker emotions of motherhood.

Eliane is working on a project collecting mothers ‘Insane Mama Moments’. She is asking mothers to share these with her anonymously, for an exhibition in Dublin.
