Back To School Anxiety with Anna McGrath and Suzanne Martin Feedzy
This week on Perfectly Imperfect Parenting Mary had two guests in the studio, Anna McGrath and Suzanne Martin. Both Anna and Suzanne were originally primary school teachers but have moved on to the areas of play therapy and mindfulness. They joined forces to develop Connected Childhood, where they now support children and families through individual consultations and training.
This is the first of a month of Perfectly imperfect Parenting ‘Back to School’ focused sessions, looking at how we can support our children as they go back to education, particularly looking at the children and teens who may struggle with separation or anxiety.
Anna and Suzanne chatted about separation anxiety and how we can use connection to support our children as they start preschool or primary school, or indeed as they return to school.
