About

Snap, Crackle & Pop with Pete Holidai is your ultimate musical journey through an eclectic mix of Pete’s favorite tracks on CD, vinyl, and cassette. Known for his dynamic career in the music industry, Pete brings a unique perspective to every show. As a founding member of The Radiators from Space, Pete was part of the iconic original lineup that recorded two albums for the legendary Chiswick Records—TV Tube Heart (1977) and Ghostown (1979), produced by Tony Visconti. The band also worked with a young Hans Zimmer on the 1979 singles Dancing Years and Stranger Than Fiction.

Pete’s musical journey didn’t stop there. In the mid-1980s, he joined Dublin-based band Light A Big Fire, contributing guitar and vocals to their UK Siren Records release, Surveillance (1986–1988). Pete’s deep knowledge of the music industry also spans over two decades, having taught Music Industry Studies at Ballyfermot College of Further Education from 1994 until 2021.

Currently, Pete is rocking out with Trouble Pilgrims, a band featuring original Radiators member Steve Rapid, long-term member Johnny Bonnie, bassist Bren Lynott, and rhythm guitarist Tony St. Ledger. On Snap, Crackle & Pop, Pete brings you an eclectic mix of his favorite tracks, sharing his vast musical knowledge and offering a window into the diverse world of music from past to present. Whether it’s the classics, the hidden gems, or his personal favorites, this show is your ultimate destination for a musical experience like no other. Tune in, sit back, and enjoy the journey through Pete Holidai’s world of sound.
