About
Stephen Daly started talking when he was 9 months old and really hasn’t stopped since. Radio has been Stephen’s passion from a very early age – his parents recall him refusing to sleep at night unless the radio was on! At the age of 12, Stephen stepped behind the decks for his first ever DJ gig, on the night of the millennium, and that was it.
Good Morning Dublin is 103.2 Dublin City FM’s premier weekday morning show aired from 10am to 12pm. Dublin City FM is where you’ll find Stephen, hosting Dublin’s biggest conversation on Good Morning Dublin. Featuring news, interviews and events the events that shape Dublin’s social and cultural life. The latest festival, a new exhibition, or a community initiative, Good Morning Dublin brings the stories of Dublin to life for you.
Chicken roll or spice bag?
Oh great question! I think I’d have to go for the good old fashioned chicken fillet roll, but I am bougie.. I have mine on a wrap, with pesto and sundried tomatoes!
What was the first album you bought?
It’s probably showing my age but it was Oasis, Definitely Maybe. Still a fantastic album, and no dynamic pricing!
Who were you a fan of before they were popular?
Kian and Michael from Sportzone. They’re all grown up now!
Best concert you’ve ever been to?
It’s so hard to pick just one, but I’d have to say U2 at the 3Arena a few years back. An incredible Dublin band, and so many amazing tunes.
What’s your favourite thing about Dublin?
I think Dublin is so unique in the friendliness of people, everyone is open to a chat, a joke and a laugh, and I think that’s my favourite thing.
Who roasts the best coffee in Ireland right now?
Always have to give a shout out to Imbibe coffee in Dolphin’s Barn, they do some really good stuff, and while they don’t roast as such, Proper Order in Smithfield are the best place in town to get a coffee!
